A blog where you can find tips on Windows and other software

Today, I will tell you something.
Want to try out Windows 7 Beta but you know that it is passed 08/01/09 (expiration date)?
Well, If you want to run it so badly, you can grab a VMware image. I recommended one by Tuxdistro. That build shows no expiration date.
Don’t try to install it clean using your CD image you’ve downloaded last year, because setup will detect the date and halts the installation. Even though you had managed to get it to install, but you will have trouble with activation, since Beta keys no longer work, and I think RemoveWAT won’t work either.
So, getting VMware image by Tuxdistro is the best because I believe that this image was hacked with some tool to activate Windows 7 Beta permanently.
Now, you can go and tell to everyone that Microsoft had trick us that Windows 7 Beta was expired! You can show them a screenshot of it running in VMware and everyone will believe you!
